Lessons are designed for beginners
Small-group setting on peaceful lake
Restrictions/Policies: Maximum weight 270 lbs. Must have ability to kneel and stand unassisted, pull self onto board unassisted from water line, and possess basic swimming abilities and comfort in water activities. Minimum age 12; ages 12-17 must be accompanied in the class by a responsible, participating adult. For safety reasons, pregnant women may not participate.
Classes conducted at Lake Wheeler, 6404 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh. No entrance fee to the park, and there is plenty of parking, a snack bar, and nice facilities.
